Centric AI, Incorporated ("Centric," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our relationship intelligence platform and services (the "Services") available at https://getcentric.ai (the "Site").
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
This Privacy Policy covers two groups: visitors to our public website at getcentric.ai (including people who browse our pages, read our blog, or request an assessment) and users of our relationship intelligence platform (people with a Centric account). Some sections apply to everyone; sections describing account data, contact data, and AI features apply only to platform users. Website analytics and advertising practices, described in Section 1.6, apply to all visitors.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and part of our Terms & Conditions, available at https://getcentric.ai/terms.

We may receive information from:
When you visit our public website, we and our analytics and advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors find and use our Site. This applies to all visitors, whether or not you have a Centric account.
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic, page views, traffic sources, and how visitors navigate our Site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information including your IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, and referral and UTM parameters. This information is shared with Google and processed under Google's privacy policy. We use this data to understand site performance and improve our content.
LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Corporation): We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand which companies and professional segments visit our Site and to enable advertising and retargeting on LinkedIn. The Insight Tag sets cookies and shares information with LinkedIn including your IP address, device and browser information, and the pages you visit. LinkedIn may associate this information with your LinkedIn account. We use this data to measure interest in Centric and, where applicable, to deliver advertising to relevant audiences.
You may opt out of the advertising-related sharing described above at any time. See "Your Privacy Choices" in the site footer, Section 5.5 (Global Privacy Control), and Section 6.1. These technologies are used only on our public website, not within the logged-in platform.
We use your information to:
We use third-party AI providers to power our intelligence features. Specifically:
Provider: Anthropic (Claude AI)
Purpose: Generate personality profiles, strategic briefings, communication drafts, and relationship insights
Data Protection: All personally identifiable information (PII) is de-identified and tokenized before being sent to Anthropic. Real names, email addresses, and identifying details are replaced with placeholders. Anthropic receives only de-identified data and cannot identify individuals from our API calls.
Retention: Anthropic does not train models on our data. Prompts and responses are not retained by Anthropic beyond 30 days for trust and safety purposes.
Provider: Deepgram
Purpose: Convert voice recordings to text transcripts
Data Protection: Audio files are sent to Deepgram for transcription only. Audio is not stored by Deepgram after transcription is complete.
Retention: Transcripts are returned to us and stored in our database; Deepgram does not retain audio or transcripts.
We use aggregated, de-identified, and anonymized data to:
We do not train AI models on your individual data. We only use de-identified, aggregated patterns for product improvement.
We use your email address to:
We process your information to:
IP Address Retention for Terms Acceptance: When you accept our Terms & Conditions, we record your IP address and browser information (user agent) alongside the acceptance timestamp. This information is retained indefinitely for legal defense and compliance purposes. This data may be disclosed in legal proceedings to verify that you agreed to our Terms at a specific time from a specific location.
Your data is stored in Google Cloud Platform (Firestore) in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (HTTPS/TLS 1.2+).
We implement:
For performance optimization, we cache:
Cached data is stored in our Firestore database and subject to the same security controls as primary data.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, our use of advertising technologies on our public website (see Section 1.6) — specifically the LinkedIn Insight Tag — constitutes "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under certain state privacy laws, including the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). You may opt out of this sharing at any time, as described in Section 6.1 and via the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer.
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Services:
Service providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
This is our "two-read-layer" access model. Data is never shared across different organizations.
We may disclose your information to:
If Centric is acquired, merged, or undergoes a change of control, your information may be transferred to the new entity. You will be notified of any such transfer, and your data will remain subject to this Privacy Policy unless you are notified otherwise.
You can access and update your account information at any time through your profile settings. Contact us at [email protected] to request a copy of your data or to correct inaccuracies.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days and permanently delete your data, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, maintaining Terms acceptance records).
Note: Terms acceptance records (including IP addresses and user agent information) are retained indefinitely for legal compliance and cannot be deleted.
You may request a machine-readable export of your data by contacting [email protected]. We will provide your data in JSON format within 30 days.
You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails by:
You cannot opt out of transactional emails (e.g., password resets, security alerts, account notifications).
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Because there is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT, our Site does not respond to DNT signals. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: when we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the advertising-related sharing described in Section 1.6, and we suppress the LinkedIn Insight Tag for that session.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to Opt-Out of Sharing: While we do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, we use advertising cookies on our website that constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. You have the right to opt out. To opt out, use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our website footer, enable a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser (which we honor automatically), or email us at [email protected] with "Do Not Share" in the subject line.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Shine the Light: Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, you may request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
